HILKE SCHOLZ: TRACES OF USE

For her master’s project „Traces of Use“ Hilke Scholz has been mending people’s favorite clothes. Together with extracts from interviews with the owners, her works shall act as an impulse to reflect on the value we attribute to textiles. By not hiding, but enhancing wear and tear she wants to change the connotation of repairing.
