NUSSARA TIENGKATE: TEXTILE-CULTURE VALLEY
Nusara has been working with communities in Mae Chaem for over 30 years. She started by seeing the way of life in harmony with nature and self-reliance in factor 4. which includes food, medicine, clothing and housing. She saw a way of life in which people can manage and design their own lives from birth to death.

Textiles are a link between her and the community. By helping people in the community to see the value of textiles. Her textile work involves product development, learning process development, community and network development, and raw material management. From her experience working with the community, she found that Textiles and other intellectual work can affect humans emotionally, economically, educationally and environmentally. Also, working with the new generation gives her a vision of how she should develop her work in the future.
